    "soft and fluid"
    i usually sign my name with the white Conte, and it goes on no matter what tooth the paper has

    "Conte pencils"
    Packed well, sharpened and only 2 of the 8 have the lead "off center" which causes problems with sharpening. I know this happens but luckily, they are the same color.

    "Conteis are a mixed blessing"
    I like the Conte pencils, but they are frustrating. The colors are good, and the consistency is good, i.e. they go on easily and cover well. But their large size won't fit a conventional sharpener, and they break easily. I have sharpened a couple down to nothing, because of internal breaks.

    "Conte Pastel Pencil"
    Conte pencils are large pencils, so are well worth their value. They blend well with other pencils and I enjoy using them.
