    "Pastel"
    Perfect. I live in an area where good pastels and paper are not available and order what I need from Dakota pastels. I appreciate the ease of ordering. Pastel remains the red headed stepchild of mediuoa and two bit art supply stores like Hobby Lobby are zero help.

    "I like them"
    I tried these new, super soft pastels after one of my students had one. I very much like the consistency of them as I prefer to paint with a dryer feeling pastel. I also love that they are square so I can get some good edges from them and I like the size as well. The colors Are excellent. The greens are beautiful and the neutrals are as well. I’ve been very happy with them and especially like the price.

    "My favorite blues!"
    "Xtra Soft" is totally misleading (in a good way). It has a texture and hardness of Terry Ludwig (or even a tad harder). It's perfect for me. Love the shape and size too. They have some lovely blues, which I cannot paint without.

    I bought a bunch of the highlight colors are they go on well and are vibrant! Very satisfied!

    "Soft and silky smoothe"
    This red violet AS. Xtra Soft is so very similar to Eggplant. It is a nice, soft dry pastel that goes on SO easily. I love it!!

    "Very competitive range of soft pastels"
    The soft pastels are very soft and buttery. Big size as well. Dakota makes it so that not only can you buy the sets, the individual colors are also available under the description section of each set. Within that list of available shades, the link is attached so you can immediately add individual colors to the set.

    "Xtra soft"
    I love the bright white, yes it is very soft and you have to be carful of crumbling.
